About Me
A grounded, compassionate approach to meaningful change

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed—trying to hold everything together on the outside while struggling internally. They may be navigating anxiety, grief, relationship stress, or a life transition that feels uncertain or heavy. What sets my work apart is not just my clinical training, but the depth of life experience I bring into the room. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working closely with individuals and families navigating crises, caregiving, and complex life transitions. I’ve supported people through high-stress, emotionally intense situations where steadiness, clarity, and trust were essential.
In addition to my professional background, I bring personal experience navigating significant loss and rebuilding after life has been unexpectedly disrupted. These experiences have deepened my understanding of grief, resilience, and what it means to begin again—allowing me to sit with clients in difficult moments with both empathy and grounded presence.
My clinical training at Capital Area Counseling in Austin further shaped this foundation, where I worked with a diverse range of clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, and relational challenges. This experience allowed me to integrate evidence-based approaches with a deeply human, relational style of care.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and strengths-based therapy. I focus on helping you understand patterns, build insight, and develop practical ways to move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Clients often tell me they feel more understood, more grounded, and more clear after our work together. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to carry everything alone—and where meaningful progress feels possible.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from Walsh University and am a National Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas, supervised by Christina Mason, LPC-S.
